Question by Julianne Doctor: What would happen if female identical twins had a baby with male identical twins?
if both couples have a male/female baby, would they look the same?

Nothing out of the ordinary would happen.

When chromosomes unite during fertilization, the combination of genes is different and usually unique. Identical twins would have ordinary children and none of them would be twins unless they developed from the same fertilized egg the way each of their parents did. This is the whole purpose of sexual reproduction. It re arranges genes so that each new individual has a unique set.

FYI: Queen bees can conciously determine the sex of their offspring. Females are produced if the queen allows an egg to be exposed to the sperm she stored during her mating flight. Male bees result from unfertilized eggs. Her male children are actually clones of herself since they carry only her genes. This is how she can actually mate with another queen and pass on only her DNA. Her normal offspring have half her genes and half the genes of one of the males the queen mated with.
